Dance Exchange at Sea

Writer: Rebecca LintonRebecca Linton

It has been a very busy fall and early winter, but I finally have a moment to reflect on the wonderful dance cruise that was the Dance Exchange at Sea. Mostly I will be showing you photos from our adventures, most of them taken by professional photographer, Susanna Myburgh. Thanks, Susanna, for your joy, energy and, of course, the wonderful photos that capture our experiences so beautifully! I hope everyone had a wonderful time! I know I had fun!

We found some places on the deck to dance to our own music!

We enjoyed dinners together.

In the evenings, we danced to a live band in the Drama Lounge.

In Nassau, we climbed the Queen's Staircase. "C'mon, Michael, only 26 more steps to go!"

and we explored Fort Fincastle.

Some of us sampled some of the wares at Watling's Rum Distillery.

We enjoyed theme nights, like Fifties Night, and...

Twenties Night.

We took advantage of the ship's facilities, including the hottubs...

and the comfy lounge chairs on the Serenity Deck.

On the last day at sea, we offered a free 2-hour dance class to beginner dancers we had met on the cruise. This made me so happy!

We enjoyed a final dinner, and...

dinner dancing with the crew, and

A final dance to the live band.
